
The New Moom calls us to return inward. Restorative yoga is a gentle and relaxing style of yoga that allows the body to return to a state of balance. It is beneficial for individuals seeking to unwind, recover from physical exertion or manage stress and anxiety. In this class we will begin with simple breathwork, and gentle stretching before we move into Restorative poses.
We will use props to facilitate supporting the body in poses held for a longer period of time. You don't need to buy anything special. I will give you many suggestions for items you already have at home.
This class is especially suited for those new to this type of practice. If you have practiced restorative yoga before, and have been meaning to get back to it, this is your opportunity to dust off your bolster and join us.
