Spring Encourages Us to Practice Together

Greetings Friends,
Spring continues to burst forth this month. This year in particular the explosion of new life from bulbs to baby opossums is especially meaningful. It's been a year of hibernation. Traveling inward we have witnessed both the light and the shadows. Now a whisper of hope calls to us as we emerge from our dens. The light is almost too bright. Do the trees look greener this Spring? The colors of sky and clouds are so vivid they pierce the heart. With an open heart we connect more deeply wherever we rest our attention. This can be your yoga and meditation practice and your family and friends, your pets, your garden, forests, oceans and their inhabitants, all humanity, this beautiful planet and beyond.
In the words of Satguru Siva Yogaswami (1872-1964) India "Only one task to do here: find out who you are. How do you find out who you are? Dive into silence and see."
We celebrated this season of hope at the house with a new bee hive. What a joy to see these little creatures enjoying the flowers. After a very long winter's sleep, just like the bees, the body wakes up again each Spring.
